Ivan Sitar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability reporting and finance, currently serving as the Global ESG Controller at AAK since November 2025. Previously, Ivan held significant roles at VELUX as the Global Senior Sustainability Advisor, Tetra Pak as the Global Finance Director for Sustainability, and various positions within IKEA, including Global Sustainability Controller and Regional Senior Business Controller. Ivan's expertise encompasses the development and enhancement of corporate sustainability strategies, financial management, and reporting processes. Academically, Ivan holds an MBA in Strategic and Organisational Management from the College of Economics and Management in Prague, alongside a Master’s degree from Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra.
