Afif Bitar has extensive work experience in the automotive and engineering industries. Afif started their career in 1990 at Duke Engineering & Services as a Technical Specialist, where they worked until 1997. In 1997, they joined AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing as the Director of Global Facilities Power & Energy.

Afif Bitar obtained their Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Power & Energy, from the University of Michigan between 1987 and 1989.
