Austin Gerding is a seasoned professional in the field of mechanical engineering, currently serving as a Senior Technical Manager for Parallel Axis Gears at AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing since September 2018. Prior to this role, Austin excelled as a Senior Product Technical Specialist at GKN Driveline from February 2007 to September 2018, focusing on geared products. Austin's career at AAM began in 1999 as a Product Engineer, where valuable foundational experience was gained until 2007. Austin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University, graduating in 2003.
