Christopher J. May

Christopher May has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Christopher started their career as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young in 1991 and worked there till 1994. In 1994, they joined AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing as a Financial Reporting Manager and later held various roles including Plant Finance Manager, Finance Manager - Metal Formed Products Division, Director of Internal Audit, Assistant Treasurer, Treasurer, and finally, Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. In addition to their roles at AAM, Christopher served as an Audit Committee Member at Detroit Institute of Arts in 2011 and as an Adjunct Professor at Kalamazoo Valley Community College from 2002 to 2002 and Oakland Community College from 1997 to 2000.

Christopher May attended Canisius University from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting. Christopher later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Detroit Mercy from 1994 to 1996.
