Dan Bankovic has extensive experience in product and process engineering, specializing in powder metal manufacturing. Currently serving as the Director of Product Engineering for the Powder Metal Manufacturing Group at American Axle & Manufacturing since April 2015, Dan previously held the position of Director of New Business Development at Metaldyne Performance Group, focusing on new business initiatives from initial quoting to product launch. Dan’s career at Metaldyne spanned over a decade, with various roles in business development, operations management, and technical sales related to sintered components. Earlier experience includes a position as Engineering Manager at Borg Warner Automotive and a series of engineering roles at Metaldyne. Dan holds a Master of Science degree in Materials Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science degree in Metals Science & Engineering from Penn State University.
