Jeff Ronning

Jeff Ronning is an experienced engineering professional specializing in hybrid and electric propulsion systems. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Architecture & Engineering - Electrification at AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing since August 2015, Jeff manages government and industry collaborations while focusing on propulsion systems analysis and development. Previous roles include supporting hybrid systems architecture at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Vice President of Systems Architecture at Echo Automotive, where strategic architectural development facilitated engineering performance improvements. Jeff has also held significant positions in hybrid technology and commercial vehicle concepts at Bright Automotive and Rocky Mountain Institute, along with foundational experience at Delphi in electric propulsion systems. Jeff Ronning holds a BSME degree from Kansas State University, earned between 1984 and 1988.
