John Matton

John Matton has extensive experience in senior leadership roles at American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM) from 2003 to the present, where they began as Director of Purchasing and advanced to Director, Government Affairs and Director of the Office of the Chairman. John has played a crucial role in driving AAM's transition to Electric Vehicle systems and improving operational excellence through the AAM Operating System. Prior to joining AAM, John worked at Ford Motor Company as a Buyer and Purchasing Manager, contributing to various aspects of production purchasing and business process improvements. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan.
