Markus Lang has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Markus began their career at Bosch Österreich as a Development Engineer from November 2004 to November 2006. Markus then joined TI Automotive as a Program & Development Engineer from December 2006 to July 2010, and later became the Purchasing Manager Powertrain Europe from August 2010 to February 2014. Markus then worked at Leipold Carl Metallwarenfabrik GmbH as the Head of Purchasing from March 2014 to August 2016.
Starting from September 2016 to December 2020, Markus worked at ebm-papst St. Georgen GmbH & Co. KG, initially as the Deputy Head of Purchasing and later as the Department Head of Strategic Procurement. Markus then joined Tekfor Holding GmbH as the Director of Purchasing from January 2021 to May 2022.
Currently, Markus holds the position of Director Purchasing at AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing since June 2022. Markus is also responsible for direct procurement and Europe indirect.
Markus Lang graduated from Hochschule Furtwangen in 2004 with a degree in Diplom-Ingenieur in the field of Maschinenbau.
