Dan Visnovsky

Dan Visnovsky currently serves as the Media Relations Manager at AAMI, a position held since May 2023. Prior to this role, Dan was employed at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University from August 2019 to May 2023, where responsibilities included managing media relations for various research projects, editing op-eds, and pitching to journalists. Dan's earlier positions at Mercatus included Media Relations Coordinator and Associate, focusing on federal financial regulation and labor policy, among other topics. Other experience includes a Development Apprentice role at the State Policy Network, a Media Intern position at the Cato Institute, and an internship at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy. Dan holds a Master’s degree in International Security from George Mason University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Communication from Saginaw Valley State University.
