Jim Murray is the associate director of development at AANE. Jim has also worked as the manager of development and communications at the Boston Landmarks Orchestra from July 2010 to December 2018. In this role, they were responsible for spearheading efforts to identify and obtain individual, corporate, foundation, and government contributions. Jim also produced proposals, sponsorship invitations, and requests for grants to procure funding for all organizational efforts and causes, including four successful grant requests to the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). In addition, they researched and tracked proposals and reports for all foundation and corporate fundraising, proofread all mailings, printed pieces, and online communications for the organization, oversaw the compilation of audience statistics for fundraising purposes, and developed lists for cultivation and special events.
Jim Murray has a Bachelor of Music in Music Business from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
