Catherine Spaulding has a diverse work experience. Catherine started their career as a Resident Physician at ABC News in January 2018. Catherine then became a Chief Resident in the Department of Pediatrics at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital from July 2018 to July 2019. During this time, they also served as a Resident Physician and Chief Resident of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics from July 2014 to July 2018. In 2017, Catherine joined Pediatrics as an Editor for the SOPT Monthly Feature. Catherine continued their career as a Contributing Writer at the American Academy of Pediatrics from October 2017. Since July 2019, they have been working as a Physician at Mount Sinai Urgent Care in the Mount Sinai Health System.

Catherine Spaulding pursued their education in a disciplined manner, obtaining their Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and Music Performance from Vanderbilt University in the period between 2006 and 2010. Catherine then proceeded to Georgetown University School of Medicine, where they dedicated herself to their studies and completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from 2010 to 2014.
