Chevon Brooks

Chevon Brooks, MD, FAAP, serves as the campus medical director at the Hughes Spalding campus of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and is an associate professor and pediatric hospitalist at Morehouse School of Medicine. Brooks has held various roles at Morehouse, including associate residency program director, assistant professor, and pediatrician since 2013. Currently, Brooks is the chief of pediatrics at Grady Health System for Morehouse School of Medicine and chairs the oral health task force for the Georgia chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Additionally, Brooks chairs the AAP's Executive Committee for the Section on Oral Health and has been a pediatric hospitalist and campus medical director at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta since 2009. Brooks completed a pediatric residency and earned an MD from Morehouse School of Medicine, as well as a bachelor's degree in biology from Norfolk State University.
