Ian C.

Ian C. is a bicoastal pediatric hospitalist and Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Stanford Children's Health and Children’s National Medical Center. They completed their residency at Stanford Children’s, focusing on medical education and quality improvement, and hold a Master's in Health Professions Education from the University of Illinois in Chicago. Currently, Ian directs various educational programs, including the ACGME Fellows’ Common Core Curriculum and the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship. They are also active in advancing LGBTQIA+ issues within the American Academy of Pediatrics, serving as the inaugural chair for the AAP Section on Hospital Medicine LGBTQIA+ Subcommittee. Ian is a co-founder and co-chair of the Annual AAP SOHM Emerging Leaders Conference.
