John Miller

John Miller has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. John started their career as an Enlisted non commissioned officer in the United States Navy in 1992 and served for several years before transitioning to the Navy Reserves. In 1996, they joined Arthur Andersen LLP as a Senior Auditor.

In 1999, John joined the US Navy Supply Corps as an officer and served until 2007. During this time, they were recalled to active duty and served in Afghanistan. John retired from the Navy in November 2007.

Following their military service, John worked at the McCormick Foundation as the Director of Finance and Administration from 1999 to 2011. In this role, they were responsible for finance, accounting and administration functions. John implemented various systems, including a payroll system that resulted in annual cost savings and a Point of Sale system that reduced inventory shrinkage.

Since 2011, John has been with the American Academy of Pediatrics. John initially served as the Director of the Department of Finance and later became the Chief Financial Officer/Senior Vice President of Finance.
