Sara Bode

Sara Bode is a primary care pediatrician and the medical director of School Health Services at Nationwide Children's Hospital, providing oversight and support to a comprehensive school health program. They serve as a school health consultant for Columbus City Schools and are the chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Council on School Health. With a focus on the intersection of health and education, they advocate for underserved populations and work to improve access to care in community settings. Currently an associate professor of pediatrics at The Ohio State University, they also direct the AAP Community Pediatrics Training Initiative.
