Sural Shah

Sural Shah is currently the Branch Chief of the Quality and Health Equity Evaluation and Monitoring at the California Department of Health Care Services and serves as a Primary Care Physician at Olive View - UCLA Medical Center. They have held various academic positions at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, including Associate Clinical Professor and Assistant Clinical Professor. Additionally, Sural has been active in leadership roles within the American Academy of Pediatrics, serving as Chair and now Chair Elect of the Council on Immigrant Child and Family Health. Sural’s educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from Penn State College of Medicine and a Master of Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
