Brandy Keys, MPH, currently serves as the Director of Health Policy at the American Academy of Ophthalmology since March 2022. Previously, Brandy held key positions at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons from August 2019 to March 2022, including Director of Government Relations and Director of Registry and Regulatory Advocacy. In these roles, Brandy provided principal advocacy support and developed positions on regulatory and legislative matters concerning clinical data registries and associated FDA-regulated products. Prior experience also includes serving as a Senior Business Analyst at UNC Physicians Network, where revenue cycle metrics were monitored for over 100 clinics, and as a Client Analyst at MSOC Health, where collaboration with medical office managers focused on reimbursement and patient care goals. Brandy earned a Master of Public Health in Public Health Policy and Management and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
