Daniel Mummert

Daniel Mummert has over two decades of experience in the field of online education and multimedia production. Currently serving as the Director of Online Education and E-Content Manager at the American Academy of Ophthalmology since May 2005, Daniel oversees the acquisition and development of a diverse range of online products and services, including interactive case studies and continuing medical education courses. Prior to this role, Daniel worked at Sybex from January 2002 to May 2005 as an Acquisitions Editor and Multimedia Production Editor, managing production schedules and crafting content for CD-ROM companions to computer tradebooks. Daniel's educational background includes an MFA in Creative Writing: Poetry from San Francisco State University and a BA in English Literature and Rhetoric from Georgetown University.
