Matthew Baugh is an Ophthalmic Clinical Teams and Coding Manager with a Master of Healthcare Administration, Certified Ophthalmic Technician, and certifications in ophthalmic coding. They began their career as an optician, developed a passion for improving vision, and became a certified ophthalmic technician at the University of Utah's Moran Eye Center. With a strong commitment to the field, they currently serve as a Coding and Reimbursement Manager at the American Academy of Ophthalmology and contribute to the John A. Moran Eye Center as a Revenue Integrity and Quality Improvement Manager. Matthew has actively engaged in co-presentations and volunteer opportunities, helping members navigate the complexities of ophthalmology coding and reimbursement.
