Art R. Smith

Art Smith is an experienced executive in the aviation and aerospace industries, currently serving as Vice President and Chief Quality Officer at AAR Corporation since January 2011. Prior to this role, Art held various management positions, including Plant Manager at Valley Rubber, LLC and Director of Operations at Bombardier Aerospace. Art also served as VP of Quality at AAR Aircraft Services and Accountability Manager at Bombardier Aerospace's Aircraft Services division. Earlier in the career, Art held the position of General Manager of Quality at Delta Air Lines. Art holds a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Technology from Thomas Edison State University and briefly attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
