Gary Soufarapis

Gary Soufarapis is an experienced financial professional with a strong background in accounting and corporate finance. As the Assistant Controller at AAR Corporation since February 2020, Gary oversees monthly and annual closings and corporate reporting. Previously, as Corporate Controller for Air Industries Group, responsibilities included consolidating financial results from nine business units and leading audits. Additional roles in accounting leadership include positions at Complex Machining Sector, Nassau Tool Works, AMETEK Aerospace and Defense, R. Greenspan International Inc., Hudson Guild, and Montefiore Medical Center, where Gary managed financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial initiatives. Gary holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Bernard M. Baruch College.
