Ryan Goertzen

Vice President Workforce Development at AAR

Ryan Goertzen has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Ryan started their career in 2001 at Air Wisconsin Airlines, where they served as the Manager of Maintenance Training and ASAP Manager. In 2008, they joined AAR as the Manager of Training and ASAP.

In 2011, Goertzen moved to Spartan College of Aeronautics & Technology, where they held the role of Vice President of Education from April 2011 to May 2014, and then served as the President from May 2013 to May 2015. Ryan continued their career at Spartan College as the Chief Aviation and Academic Officer from June 2015 to August 2018.

Currently, Goertzen is working at AAR as the Vice President Workforce Development since August 2018.

Ryan Goertzen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2000. Ryan then pursued a Masters of Public Administration degree from the same university and completed it in 2004. Prior to their university education, they obtained a Diploma from Henderson Community School in 1996. Additionally, they hold certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration in Commercial MEL/SEL, Instrument, and CFI, although the exact dates of completion are not provided.
