Shelly Smith

Shelly Smith is a seasoned professional in the aviation industry with a diverse background in program management, materials, and purchasing. Currently serving as Program Manager at AAR since December 2024, Shelly previously held the position of Director of Materials and Purchasing at Contour Aviation from April to November 2024. Prior to that role, Shelly worked as an Accounts Payable Specialist at Embraer from May 2022 to April 2024 and as Director of Materials and Purchasing at Contour Aviation from December 2019 to March 2022. Earlier experience includes serving as Purchasing Manager at Embraer from June 2018 to November 2019, as well as various roles at Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Services from November 2007 to November 2019, including Material Planner, Purchasing Supervisor, Continuous Improvement Specialist, Buyer, and Material Expeditor.
