Ian Goldsmith

Ian Goldsmith is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as SOC Manager at AARNet since October 2023. Previously, Ian held roles including Security Engineer Tier 3 at Fastly, Lead Detection Engineer at Salesforce, and Lead Detection Engineer at Commonwealth Bank. Additional experience includes positions as Information Security Manager at Westpac Group and Senior Manager, CSIRT at Salesforce. Ian started a career in information security with roles at Westpac Banking Corporation as an Information Security Senior Consultant and Consultant, and also has teaching experience as a tutor in Cryptography and Security at the University of New South Wales. Ian Goldsmith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UNSW, completed in 2006.
