Simon Miles

Simon Miles is currently the Construction Manager for Major Infrastructure at AARNet, leading efforts in strategic expansion and capacity enhancement for telecommunication infrastructure. Previously, Simon served as Program Manager at Vocus Communications, driving a national data centre and site consolidation initiative and achieving significant operational improvements. Over the years, Simon held various roles including Senior Project Manager at Vodafone Australia, where notable achievements included managing the RAN Capacity Program and the Optical Transmission Upgrade project. Prior to that, Simon gained valuable experience as a Network Engineer at Energis and Inet, and started their career as a Telecommunications Operator in the Royal Air Force. Simon has also pursued continuous education in Project Management through the Australian Institute of Management and the University of Sydney.
