Jerry Cox

Jerry Cox has extensive work experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Jerry is currently working as the Software Engineering Team Lead at Aaron's, Inc, where they lead a team of software developers and collaborates with business and operations teams to transform requirements into technical specifications. In addition, Jerry is the Founder and Principal Engineer at BD&E Consulting, LLC. Previously, they held roles such as Senior Software Engineer/Lead DevOps Engineer at ParkingSoft LLC, Lead Software Engineer at Triaxia Partners, Inc., and .Net Software Quality Engineer at Mercer Engineering Research Center. Jerry also has experience in the public sector, having worked as a Lead Software Engineer at the Georgia Department of Revenue. Their previous roles include Software Engineer at Bit-Wizards, Web Developer at Tip Or Tap Marketing, and Computer/Tablet Specialist and Apple Product Expert at Best Buy. Jerry started their career as a Design Engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation.

Jerry Cox holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Mathematics from the University of West Florida, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. Jerry also earned an Associate's degree in General Studies from Northwest Florida State College from 2009 to 2010.
