Alison McSherry

Alison McSherry is a communications leader with over 13 years of experience in implementing strategies that enhance brand awareness and media coverage, particularly in the nonprofit and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Communications at AARP New Jersey, Alison has also held key roles such as Senior Director of Marketing & Communications at LiveOnNY, where they achieved significant increases in media coverage and donor registrations. In previous positions, they excelled in building thought leadership programs and developing content strategies that fostered strong partner relationships. Alison earned a B.A. in Communication and Political Science from Monmouth University.
