Aliza Bailey

Aliza Bailey has extensive experience in network security and information technology, currently serving as a Senior Information Security Architect and Network Security Engineer II at AARP since June 2015. Prior to this role, Aliza worked as an Information Security Advisor at The George Washington University Division of Information Technology from August 2012 to April 2015, and as a Network Security Engineer at Connecticut Education Network from December 2005 to August 2012. Key responsibilities included provisioning a statewide optical Research and Education Network, leading a state-wide web filtering environment, developing security policies and conducting audits, as well as creating educational presentations on network security topics. Aliza began a career at the University of Connecticut, where roles included Gatekeeper/Student Network Security Analyst and Office Assistant in Sponsored Programs. Aliza holds a BA in Political Science and Economics from the University of Connecticut.
