Currently serving as VP of Startup Programming & Investments at AARP Innovation Labs since May 2022, Amelia leads startup sourcing and manages the investment portfolio, focusing on AgeTech solutions. Previously, as Startup Investment & Operations Director and Innovation Operations Director at AARP Innovation Labs, Amelia was instrumental in overseeing operations and investing in early-stage startups for the 50+ market. With a strong background in finance, Amelia held the position of Group Finance Director at AARP from 2006 to 2018 and served as Director of Finance for Verizon before that.
