Angela J.

Angela J. is the Founder and Executive Director of Valor Village Foundation, Inc., established in December 2017 to provide safe lodging and support services for family members visiting incarcerated veterans. Angela also holds a long-standing role at AARP since March 2005, where responsibilities have included serving as a Senior Research Analyst and Project Manager, conducting research, managing operations, and supervising educational content development for older adults. Previous experience includes working as a Research Advisor at Newseum, conducting research for the Journalists Memorial, and serving as Research Manager at Newsday Media Group, where oversight of technology projects for war correspondents was a key responsibility. Angela J. holds a Master of Library Science degree from Queens College.
