Beth Carter

Senior Policy Advisor

Beth Carter is a Senior Policy Advisor at the AARP Public Policy Institute, specializing in healthy aging and health policy with a focus on evidence-based disease prevention, health promotion, health disparities, mental health, and women's health since July 2014. Prior to this role, Beth served as an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at The George Washington University and as Principal Investigator in Trauma & Burn Surgery at Children's National Hospital from December 2010 to July 2014, supported by NIH K funding.
