Dan Garvin is an experienced leader and advocate dedicated to serving seniors in South Carolina. Currently serving as an Executive Council Member for AARP South Carolina since December 2022, Dan actively participates in shaping organizational strategies. With extensive board experience, including roles at Rolling Green Village and the United Quality Management Institute, Dan contributes to policy governance and education for project management professionals. An Advocacy Volunteer since June 2015, Dan engages with state legislators on critical issues affecting seniors. Additional involvement includes board positions at various organizations focused on counseling and senior advocacy, along with hands-on roles in community events. Dan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Cincinnati, a Master's Degree in Quality Management, and has completed leadership training at Furman University.
