Destiny Sheppard

Graduate Policy Advocacy Intern

Destiny Sheppard is a Master of Public Policy student at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy and a senior at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, where they are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Sociology. They have held various roles, including Graduate Policy Advocacy Intern at AARP and Legislative Intern with the U.S. House Energy & Commerce Committee Democrats, showcasing a commitment to policy research and advocacy. Additionally, Destiny contributed to community well-being by assisting with mental health initiatives at the Warren County Prosecutor's Office and participated in various democratic engagement activities as a fellow with organizations such as the Progressive Turnout Project and Democracy Summer.
