Don Armstrong

Don Armstrong is an experienced copy editor and independent book editor with a diverse background in journalism and publishing. Currently employed at AARP since February 2018, Don works on copyediting and fact-checking for the Livable Communities initiative and Government Affairs departments. Additionally, Don serves as a copy editor for Dwell Magazine, focusing on architecture and design articles. With a history of editing for various prominent publications, Don has worked at Meredith Corporation, Al Jazeera America, Boston magazine, The Sporting News, New York Daily News, and Rolling Stone. As an independent book editor, Don has edited notable works, including Love Never Leaves and several titles by best-selling author Matt Birkbeck. Don holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of South Carolina.
