Elisa Walker is a Social Security policy expert with nearly 15 years of experience in analyzing and shaping Social Security policy across various sectors, including the executive and legislative branches as well as think tanks. Currently serving as the Government Affairs Director for Social Security at AARP, Elisa previously held significant roles at the Social Security Administration and the U.S. House of Representatives, where they advised on legislative topics and managed stakeholder relations. With a BA in Sociology and Spanish from the University of Mary Washington and a Master of Public Policy from The George Washington University, Elisa excels in communicating complex Social Security information to diverse audiences.
