Erin Mitchell has over 18 years of experience with AARP, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Engagement. Previous roles at AARP include Director of Engagement, Associate State Director for Community Outreach, and Senior Program Coordinator. Erin Mitchell also held the position of Interim State Director for AARP New Hampshire in 2022. Before joining AARP, Erin Mitchell worked as the Assistant Director of Government Affairs for Family Planning Advocates of NYS from 1999 to 2005. Erin Mitchell earned a BA in English, Political Science, and Women's Studies from Le Moyne College and a certificate from the Women's Campaign School at Yale University in 2002.
