Erwin Tan

Erwin Tan is a seasoned professional in the fields of health and geriatrics, currently serving as the Director of Thought Leadership in Health at AARP since January 2016. Prior experience includes directorial roles at the Corporation for National and Community Service, managing the Senior Corps, and as an Assistant Professor of Geriatric Medicine at Johns Hopkins. Erwin also held the position of White House Fellow at the US Department of Veterans Affairs and contributed significantly at UCSF Medical Center as both an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine and Director of the High User Case Management Program. A former officer in the US Army Reserves, Erwin's education includes an MD from New York Medicine Jobs, a fellowship in Integrative Medicine from the University of Arizona, and an AB in Biology from Brown University.
