Gail Tate is an experienced professional with a diverse background in leadership, training, and consulting. Currently serving as a Volunteer Leader at AARP since February 2020, Gail co-leads teams focused on Zoom training, volunteer orientation, and education leadership, as well as diversity initiatives. As the Founder and Managing Director of FUNZANA, LLC, established in 2008, Gail provides consulting and training services around technology use and event planning, with notable clients including SkeensMcDonell Consulting Group and Argonne National Laboratory. Gail's previous roles include managing a high technology collaborative center at the University of Illinois and holding director positions at AT&T Bell Laboratories / Lucent Technologies, where responsibilities encompassed project and product development, organizational development, and diversity management.
