Greg Crawford

Greg Crawford is currently serving as the Kansas Volunteer Portal Champion at AARP since March 2023. Prior to this role, Crawford retired in June 2022 after a distinguished tenure at the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, where from October 1998 to June 2022, Crawford held the position of Director of Vital and Health Statistics Data Analysis. In this capacity, responsibilities included directing analyses of vital statistics data, preparing reports on vital events, managing staff in data analysis, and coordinating a population analysis initiative. Earlier experience includes a role as Director of Public Information at the Kansas Department of Health and Environment from October 1988 to August 1998, focusing on communications for a cabinet-level state agency. Greg Crawford holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and History from Indiana University Bloomington.
