Joe Fox

Joe Fox, PMP, serves as the Senior Director of Technology and Business Solutions at AARP Foundation since October 2015, leading a team responsible for managing a portfolio of 40-60 projects across various platforms, including Salesforce and AWS. Joe has restructured technology operations and ensured data privacy compliance while initiating a Salesforce Community of Practice that enhanced team skills. Concurrently, Joe operates as a Freelance Traffic Anchor/Reporter/Producer for WTOP News, delivering timely traffic updates and contributing to breaking news coverage. Previously, Joe held project management roles at the Federal Aviation Administration, where significant contributions included managing Salesforce implementations and developing project management frameworks. Experience at Acumen Solutions and Cap Gemini involved leading major projects in diverse sectors, complemented by early roles in various technology and telecommunications firms. Joe holds a BS in Management Science & Information Technology from Virginia Tech and completed the FAA's Program for Emerging Leaders in 2014.
