John Hishta

John Hishta has extensive experience in political campaigns and public affairs, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Campaigns at AARP since 2011. Prior roles include Partner at SRCP Media, Managing Director at Mercury Public Affairs, and Vice President at ACS INC. John has also held significant positions such as Executive Director and Independent Expenditure Director/Senior Consultant at the NRCC, and Chief of Staff/Press Secretary for the US Congress. Additionally, John was the Campaign Manager for Davis For Congress and managed campaigns for the Chairman of the Fairfax Board of Supervisors. Early in John’s career, lobbying experience was gained at SKC and Associates. John earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Penn State University.
