John Wanko

John Wanko is an accomplished technology and marketing professional with extensive experience in digital technology and operations. Since January 2006, John has held multiple leadership positions at AARP, currently serving as Senior Director of Digital Technology and Marketing Operations. Prior roles at AARP include Director of Digital Technology, Manager of Application Development, and Internet Application Developer. Prior to joining AARP, John worked as a Senior Network Specialist & Developer at WebFirst from November 2000 to February 2006. John began a career in technology as a Software Engineer Summer Intern at Honeywell Measurex DMC in 1998. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, earned between 1996 and 2000.
