Karin Miller

Karin Miller is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in community engagement strategy and journalism. Currently serving as the Senior Advisor for Community Engagement Strategy at AARP since November 2007, Karin oversees internal and external communications efforts while collaborating with local leaders, partners, and volunteers to enhance community well-being. Prior to this role, Karin worked as Communications Director and Newswoman at the Associated Press from February 1989 to 2006, where responsibilities included editing and writing political, business, sports, and general news stories for both Tennessee and national reports. Karin holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Belmont University.
