Marge Stoneking

Marge Stoneking is the Alaska Associate State Director of Advocacy at AARP, a position held since December 2020. Prior to this role, Stoneking served as the Executive Director for the American Lung Association in Alaska from 2012 to December 2020, emphasizing a commitment to respiratory health. Earlier experience includes serving as CEO of the Girl Scouts of Alaska from 2009 to 2012 and various leadership positions at the American Lung Association from 1999 to 2008, including Executive Director, Director of Programs, and Director of Communications. Stoneking also owned and operated Fineline Coffee, an espresso business with multiple locations in Anchorage, from 1994 to 1999. Additional experience includes working as House Manager for the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts from 1993 to 1998. Stoneking holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Macalester College and a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
