Mary Boyle

AARP Public Policy Institute Director Of Digital Strategies

Mary Boyle has extensive experience in communications and public policy leadership, currently serving as the AARP Public Policy Institute Director of Digital Strategies and Director of Communications for the Center to Champion Nursing in America. With a focus on addressing the challenges of an aging population and a shortage of primary health care providers, Mary drives initiatives to promote a healthier America through nursing. Prior to AARP, Mary held key roles at Common Cause, including Vice President of Communications and Press Secretary, where strategic communication for advocacy campaigns was developed. Earlier experience includes serving as Washington Bureau Chief for The Colorado Springs Gazette and reporting for The Associated Press and Inside Washington Publishers. Mary holds a Master’s Degree in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the College of the Holy Cross.
