Matt Netto

Matt Netto has extensive experience in outreach, advocacy, and fundraising. Currently serving as the Associate State Director for Outreach and Advocacy at AARP since October 2020, Netto previously held various significant roles, including Manager of Fund Raising & Special Events at the American Diabetes Association, where coordination of the Ocean State Tour de Cure took place. Additional leadership positions include Associate Director of Event Production at the Association of Fundraising Professionals - RI Chapter and State Director for Best Buddies Rhode Island. Prior experience includes Director of Development at Advent House, Inc., and Development Associate at Lifespan. Netto began a career as an Account Executive at Citadel Broadcasting. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in English with a focus on Creative Writing from Rhode Island College.
