Maureen Smile

Maureen Smile is an experienced professional with a robust background in advocacy and community engagement, currently serving as Vice-President of the Office of Community Engagement at AARP since April 2001. A native of Virginia, Maureen has a track record of leading membership development at a national non-profit organization in Pennsylvania. Prior to AARP, Maureen worked in public relations at the Bighorn Center for Public Policy from August 1999 to April 2001. Maureen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government, with educational credentials from Colorado State University, the University of Colorado Denver, and Virginia Commonwealth University.
