Melissa Stanton is an experienced editor and content creator with a strong background in community-focused initiatives. Currently serving as Editor/Senior Advisor for AARP Livable Communities since January 2010, Melissa leads the development of online content and print publications while managing public-facing initiatives. Prior roles include Senior Editor and Online Editor at AARP.org, and various editorial positions at Seal Press, Cory Place Communications, and Time Inc. magazines. Melissa holds a BA in History/Communications from Fordham University, completed a Democratic Candidate Training Program at Emerge Maryland, and earned a Master of Public Health specializing in Community Health Education and Women's Health from Hunter College.
