Pete Jeffries

Pete Jeffries has extensive experience in strategic communications and public policy, currently serving as the National Director of Integrated Campaigns Field Management and other senior roles at AARP since March 2007. Previous positions include Senior Counsel for the Jim Nussle for Governor campaign and Senior Vice President of Public Policy at Hill & Knowlton. Jeffries's career began in the U.S. House of Representatives, where a significant role was held as Director of Communications & Legislative Projects under Speaker Dennis Hastert from March 1997 to February 2005. Educational achievements include an MBA from the University of Iowa, a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy from Leadership Iowa, and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism-Mass Communication from the University of Iowa.
