Rita Saenz

Rita Saenz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in government and affairs, most notably serving as the Director at the California Department of Employment Development from 2021 to 2022. They held various leadership roles at organizations such as Xerox and the California Department of Social Services, where they managed multi-billion dollar budgets and led significant initiatives in health, social services, and workforce development. Rita is currently a Special Advisor on the California AARP Executive Committee and contributes as a mentor in the Cresciente Latinx Leadership Program. Their educational background includes studies in Liberal Arts at Community College and East Los Angeles Community College from 1966 to 1968.
